Caixa ranks as the 34th safest bank in the world.
Caixa Geral de Depósitos have moved up two places in the World 50´s Safest Banks 2009 ranking published this week by the prestigious magazine Global Finance. Last February, on the mid-year ranking, Caixa appeared for the fist time in this global list on the 36th place.
In a period that was characterized by the worst financial crisis ever, it is rewarding to see our institution climbing in a ranking that suggest it is today one of the safest financial institutions in the globe.
Global Finance has been publishing the “World Safest Banks” listing for 18 years and this ranking has become a recognized and trusted standard of creditworthiness for the entire financial world.
