CGD recognized by the CDP for its strategy for climate changes

Caixa achieves the maximum score of 100 Disclosure points and integrates the Iberian Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI).

Caixa was, once again, recognized by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for its effort to reduce carbon emissions and for its strategy for climate changes, achieving the maximum score of 100 Disclosure points and integrating the Iberian Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI).

This distinction was announced in the ceremony for the launch of the CDP Iberia Climate Change Report 2015, held on November 6th at Euronext, in Lisbon.

Caixa has been voluntarily responding to the CDP's questionnaire since 2009, because it is not a listed company, and it is the only company in the Portuguese financial sector with a rating of 100 points in the CDP's report ranking.

The ratings assigned by the CDP are an important tool that allows investors and other agents with decision-making power to assess the preparation of the companies for the new requirements of the market and the robustness of their performances when it comes to reducing the impact of climate change.
